We didn’t want the product to look like a sun care or tanning product, but we definitely wanted to highlight the gold aspect in the packaging as much as possible, since there was actual molecular gold and 24k gold leaf in the gel product. We landed on this deep navy tube to tie back into the family of ASEA products, and added an angular gloss varnish and gold foil accent on the logo and lettering, to give it some nice shine and sophistication.
